First reported death from influenza A H1N1 in Sonora

The Ministry of Health in Sonora confirmed the first death in the entity because of influenza A H1N1.

The deceased person was originating in Etchojoa, Who started with the symptoms of the flu during the last year and died on 2 January 2014 by the type A H1N1.

The director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, Sergio Olvera Alba, gave to know that the cases of influenza have been detected one of type B, four of A H3N2 and seven of A H1N1 and have been isolated.
