First H1N1 death in Quebec

An elederly woman who was more than 65 years old has become the first person to die from the H1N1 flu in Quebec, according to the ministry of health.
The woman was in hospital for three days. She also had a bacteria infection.
At a press conference Dr. Alain Poirier said it was a sad event, but the ministry of health is not asking the public to increase the prevention tactics it has been recommending.
Among them are:
* washing hands often
* sneezing and coughing into your elbow
* staying home if you feel sick
The number of confirmed cases of H1N1 flu in Quebec stands at 542. Sixty-four of those had been hospitalized.
