Ministry: Small Children not Particularly Vulnerable to Swine Flu
Children under the age of three are no longer considered a special risk group for swine flu. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health published on Friday an updated version of guidelines for the H1N1 virus.
YLE has learned that children under three are no longer considered to be especially at risk if they catch swine flu. Current risk groups include pregnant women and people with certain chronic diseases.
Statistically speaking, the number of fatalities worldwide due to swine flu has been low.
