hah ! I found it ... the charts are still available, just not with my old browser
and not so easily accessable, no url, not computer-readable and the
formatting is bad, but you can still get them.

you get 2 menus, the latter is for ILI/ARI
select the country (43 countries)
select ILI or ARI
click update
it works with firefox
not all countries are currently available
my aim is to get several countries, to see where it starts,
how it spreads, when it peaks
and to compare with previous seasons, to detect patterns.
The best seems to try estimating the data-points from the charts
with the eye, but that's slow and tedious.
