November 10, 2008, the Thai Agriculture and Co-operation to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) informed on October 27, 2008, Thailand Sukhothai (SUKHOTHAI) took place from 1 subtype H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza. In order to prevent the disease into our country to protect the safety of animal husbandry in China, according to the "People's Republic of China on the Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine," and its implementing regulations and other relevant laws and regulations, the following notice:
First, the direct or indirect import of poultry from Thailand and its products, stopped issuing import of poultry from Thailand and its products "entry permit animal and plant quarantine," has been issued by the revocation of the "entry permit animal and plant quarantine."
Second, on October 27, 2008 (including Oct. 27) after the shipment of poultry from Thailand and its products will be destroyed or returned for processing; on October 27, 2008 shipment of poultry from Thailand Category and its products, the detection of bird flu after passing before the release.
Third, to prohibit passengers from carrying mail or poultry from Thailand and imported products, once discovered, should be returned or destroyed to make.
