AUSTRALIA'S most versatile competitor, Emily Seebohm, is racing against time to be ready for next month's national team trials after being hospitalised with swine flu.

Seebohm, 18, was uncharacteristically flat when she competed at the NSW titles in Sydney three weeks ago and found herself in a hospital isolation ward in Brisbane four days later after she was racked with fever...

..."It was all a bit crazy. It wasn't until the Friday they confirmed that it was the newest strain of swine flu _ it's different from the one that came out in 2009."

Seebohm was one of six swimmers from the Brothers club in Brisbane to go down with the virus, while their coach Matt Brown also had a mild dose...
