Egyptian-French researches to produce bird flu vaccination

Egyptian-French researches are carried out to produce a bird flu vaccination, said Abdel Rahman Shahin Spokesman for the Ministry of Health and population.

He added that Egypt was internationally ranked third with regard to the bird flu case with 36 cases.

Meantime, a child in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Qena is suspected to caught bird flu virus. Blood samples were taken from the child to be analyzed.

Meantime, analyses by the laboratories at the ministry of agriculture and land reclamation confirmed.

A spread of bird flu virus among birds in two villages in Menia and Damietta governorates.

Protection measures were taken by veterinary authorities in the two villages.
