أعلن المهندس ماجد جورج، وزير البيئة، أن بعثة دولية مشتركة من المكتب الإقليمى لمنسق الأمم المتحدة للأنفلونزا، ومكتب المنسق المقيم للأمم المتحدة فى القاهرة، ستقوم بمراجعة وتقييم أنشطة الحكومة المصرية فى السيطرة على انتشار مرضى أنفلونزا ?الطيور والخنازير?، وتحديد المجالات التى تحتاج إلى تطوير، وأشار الوزير إلى أن البعثة تضم فريقا متعدد التخصصات من منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة ?الفاو? ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة ?اليونيسيف? ومنظمة الصحة العالمية. Eng Maged George, Minister of Environment, that the mission of international joint regional office of the United Nations Coordinator for Avian and the Office of the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Cairo, will review and evaluate the activities of the Egyptian government in controlling the spread of flu patients ?birds and pigs?, and to identify areas that need to be development, the minister pointed out that the mission includes a multidisciplinary team from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations ?FAO? and the Organization of the United Nations Children's Fund ?UNICEF? The World Health Organization.
وقال ?جورج? إن البعثة توصلت إلى عدد من الإجراءات الرئيسية على أربعة مستويات وهى الهيكل الإدارى والإستراتيجية والتنفيذ والرصد والتحليل، ومن هذه الإجراءات إشراك منتجى الدواجن فى عمليات صنع القرار مما يسهل الامتثال لتدابير السيطرة على المرض، والسيطرة على المخاطر فى تربية الدواجن المنزلية وأسواق الطيور الحية، بالإضافة إلى تحديث الخطط الإستراتيجية، وإعداد خطة وطنية جديدة للسيطرة التدريجية على أنفلونزا الطيور فى الدواجن، وضمان الكشف المبكر عن الفيروسات المتحورة. He said ?George? The Mission reached a number of key actions on four levels, namely administrative structure, strategy and implementation, monitoring and analysis, and these procedures involve producers in the decision-making processes, making it easier to comply with measures to control the disease, and control risks in the poultry house and bird markets living, as well as to update the strategic plans, preparation of a new national plan to control the gradual bird flu in poultry, and to ensure early detection of mutations.
كما استعرض ?جورج? خلال رئاسته الاجتماع الثالث للجنة القومية لمكافحة مرض الأنفلونزا، بحضور وزراء الزراعة والصحة والتنمية المحلية ومحافظى القاهرة الكبرى والمنوفية والغربية والقليوبية وبنى سويف والدقهلية والفيوم والشرقية، أهم الإجراءات المتخذة من قبل وزارة الصحة، ومراجعة الاستراتيجية القومية لمكافحة مرض أنفلونزا الطيور، بالإضافة إلى تقييم الوضع الوبائى لمرض أنفلونزا الطيور بالمحافظات المعنية. Also reviewed the ?George? during his third meeting of the National Committee to combat bird flu, the presence of ministers of agriculture, health, local development and governors of the Greater Cairo, Menoufiya and Western and Qalyubia, Beni Suef and Dakahlia, Fayoum and East, the most important actions taken by the Ministry of Health, and review the national strategy for fight against bird flu, as well as to assess the epidemic situation of avian flu on governorates.
