وأضاف طه أن هذا القانون في حالة إقراره سيهدف لخصخصة الوحدات البيطرية والتمهيد لبيعها وهي 1500 وحدة بيطرية، وسبق أن فعلتها وزارة الزراعة مع شركات إنتاج اللحوم وبيعت للمستثمرين الذين قاموا ببيعها كأراضٍ بعد خمس سنوات، ووزارة الزراعة مهدت لهذه الخصخصة عمليًا بوقف تكليف الأطباء وتخفيض الميزانية من 150 مليونًا إلي 35 مليونًا حتي تتدهور هذه الوحدات ويبتعد الفلاح عنها وتكون بلا جدوي وجاهزة للبيع، كما أن الحكومة مهدت أيضًا للقانون بالسماح بإنشاء محاجر بيطرية خاصة وذلك لتسهيل دخول الحيوانات الحية بلا رقابة حقيقية للسلطة البيطرية ولم نتعلم من الدرس عندما تم استيراد أبقار من أثيوبيا عام 2006 بقرار سياسي وتم إدخاله سلالة جديدة من فيروس الحمي القلاعية خسرت فيها مصر 7 مليارات جنيه.

وأشار طه إلي أن القانون الثاني هو قانون منع تداول الطيور الحية بادعاء أنها سبب استشراء مرض إنفلونزا الطيور، وهذا الادعاء خاطئ، إذ أن مرض إنفلونزا الطيور موجود منذ عام 1878 وفي مصر معروف ومنتشر منذ عام 1938 والطب البيطري قام بحملة تحصينية في جميع القري عام 1952 وتم استئصال المرض وقتها بلقاح مصري.
