According to a statement issued by the Movement "Veterinarians Without Borders that" 40% of Egypt carcasses slaughtered outside slaughterhouses, warning of the slaughter of female animals, small and baby calves and buffaloes, which threatens the extinction of large numbers of these animals because of the wanton slaughter.
The statement called for the need to strengthen veterinary inspection campaigns to protect the security and activate the decision of the Minister of Justice No. 607 of 1966, granting judicial officers of the departments of Veterinary Medicine Doctors.
The statement added that the laboratory examination of the meat contained in the laboratories of Veterinary Medicine of the Ministry of Health is not meant to check on the meat importers are also invited, demanding the need to travel to Jean veterinary examination in the country of origin of animals before slaughter and confidence that the slaughter was in accordance with Islamic law and not through western shocked circuit and firing in the brain or beaten with a hammer on the headers of animals, and make sure the speed of shipping after the freeze, which require a revision of Minister of Agriculture decree No. 1196 of 1997 to become the mandatory travel commissions with the change of names of members of the committees at the level of the Republic.
