the area is part of the Alexandria governorate and the total number of suspect cases since 2006 are currently 927.

this number was only increased by two suspect cases during a fifty nine day period starting from December 20th,2009 through February 13th,2010.

based on the ministry of health report they have the fifth highest level of suspect cases reported with the lowest number of total confirmed cases from this group of five governorates listed below.
