منذ عدة سنوات طفت على السطح مشكلة نقص المياه بمدينة الطور عاصمة محافظة جنوب سيناء، وتعاقب على المدينة عدة رؤساء مدن أسهموا فى حل المشكلة حتى أصبحت المياه فى كل الأدوار على مدى 24 ساعة.
وعادت منذ عدة أشهر المشكلة إلى الظهور مرة أخرى، ومع مرور الوقت، حتى وصل الأمر إلى عدم وصولها إلى الأدوار الأرضية إلا نادراً، خاصة حى الزهور والأمل الجبيل والمروة الجديدة التى أصبحت أكثر المناطق معاناة، حتى أن حى الزهور الموجود به ديوان عام المحافظة أصبح أكثر الأحياء معاناة برغم انخفاض مستواه كثيراً عن باقى الأحياء بالمدينة.
تقول صفية محمود، أحد سكان حى الزهور، لقد بدأت مشكلة انقطاع
المياه من شهر يونيو حتى الآن، أشد الأشهر حراً، والذى نعانى فيه من انقطاع المياه دائما وعدم وصولها للأدوار العليا، ونناشد المسئولين التحرك سريعاً لحل هذه المشكلة.
ويضيف محمد على أن هناك معاناة يومياً يعانيها السكان من أجل الحصول على مياه الشرب.
