تلقت غرفة عمليات محافظة البحر الأحمر إخطارا من مستشفى الغردقة العام بوفاة فتاة يشتبه فى إصابتها بأنفلونزا الخنازير، وإصابة 7 آخرين تم حجزهم بالمستشفى وفق ما صرح به اللواء سعيد جبر سكرتير عام المحافظة. Operations room received a notification of the Red Sea of Hurghada General Hospital, the death of a girl suspected of being infected with swine flu, and injuring 7 others have been detained in hospital as stated by Major General Saeed Jaber, secretary general of the province.

كانت شيماء عطية (17 سنة) دخلت مستشفى الغردقة العام منذ عدة أيام مع 7 حالات أخرى للاشتباه بالإصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير، حيث كانوا يعانون من ارتفاع شديد بدرجة الحرارة والتهاب رئوى حاد. The Shaima gift (17 years) entered the Hurghada General Hospital a few days ago with 7 other cases of suspected injury of swine flu, where they were suffering from very high temperature and severe pneumonia.

تم أخذ عينة منهم وإرسالها إلى المعامل المركزية بالقاهرة وتوفت الفتاة ظهر اليوم الثلاثاء قبل وصول نتيجة العينة. Sample was taken from them and sent to labs central Cairo and the girl died Tuesday afternoon before the arrival of the sample result.
