Engineer Sami Amara, Governor of Menoufia, Monofia to devise a new model of safe breeding of birds in the villages of the province, a battery poultry safely prevent the mixing of poultry and non-human transmission of diseases common to man and birds.
Adding that the new model for breeding birds, which the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Menoufiya design was put to the test by starting the experience within the village of Kafr El-Wahab Quesna status, to determine the extent of success of the experiment, in preparation for circulation to all the villages within the province, pointing out that the village residents were provided with a number 100 battery free of charge at the expense of the Fund maintaining services, identify the vaccination teams of Veterinary Medicine, supervision and follow-up of the local unit to make the most of this project which will yield a steady income is estimated at 200 pounds per month for the battery capacity of 75 birds, the governor explained that the project Menoufia CSB aims to adhere to birds in the countryside in a safe, vaccinated and follow-up immunization, and if the success of that experience will benefit young graduates through the Social Fund to fund the purchase of such batteries, and give them as small projects, which opens new horizons for them to get jobs and a fixed monthly income appointed by the burdens of living.
Engineer Sami Amara that the idea of the design of this model came in response to outbreaks of avian influenza within the villages, because of home education, emphasized statistics IDSC that 80% of households are home-raised birds in the Egyptian countryside, and the purpose of that is either domestic consumption or to achieve additional revenue to the family income, especially for poor families of this project was a contribution from the county in support of the poorest households at the county level.
