أثبتت نتائج العينات الواردة من المعامل المركزية التابعة لوزارة الصحة بالقاهرة إيجابية إصابة 4 حالات بمرض الأنفلونزا المستجدة وهم تامر عبد الوارث الشناوى 4سنوات من دقميرة مركز كفر الشيخ وفرحة عبد العزيز إسماعيل 10سنوات بالمعهد الابتدائى الأزهرى بالبتناوس وجيهان عبد الحميد محمد 50 سنة، ربة منزل من ميت الدببة ومنال محمد 45 سنة، ربة منزل. كما تم احتجاز 7 آخرين هم أيمن قاسم بدير 30 سنة عامل من ميت علوان وحمدى رزق محمد حسن 30 سنة عامل من عزبة الحلوة بيلا وشوقى عبد الستار محمد 40 سنة موظف بشركة الدلتا للسكر وخالد محمد فوزى 9 شهور من كفر خميس وثريا محسوب بسيونى 45 سنة ربة منزل وجيهان خليفة 34سنة ربة منزل من كفر الشيخ وحسيبة عبد العليم إبراهيم 35 سنة لشعورهم بالحرارة الشديدة ورشح من الأنف والاشتباه فى إصابتهم بالمرض، وتم أخذ عينة وأرسلت للمعامل المركزية بالقاهرة.
