A government plan to contain the ?avian flu? before winter and to identify ?18 locations? in the desert for the establishment of poultry farms

وقال أباظة ? خلال الاجتماع الذى عقده الوزير أمس مع مجلس إدارة الاتحاد العام لمنتجى الدواجن ? ?إن الحكومة تدرس حالياً خطة جماعية تشارك فيها جميع الوزارات لاحتواء مرض أنفلونزا الطيور، ووضع آليات تنفيذية للسيطرة على المرض قبل حلول الشتاء المقبل?.

وأضاف ?تقرر إنشاء صندوق أو حساب بالوزارة لتعويض أصحاب مزارع الدواجن التى تصاب بأنفلونزا الطيور ويتم إعدام طيورها، بشرط أن تكون مزرعة الدواجن عضواً فى الاتحاد العام لمنتجى الدواجن، وأن يقوم صاحب المزرعة بالإبلاغ الفورى عن الإصابات إلى أجهزة الهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية، للتأكد من تطبيقها الاشتراطات البيطرية، من حيث البعد الوقائى عن الكتلة السكنية والأمان الحيوى.
