لقيت سيدة حتفها متأثرة بإصابتها بمرض إنفلوانزا الخنازير بعد تدهور حالتها الصحية، وذلك داخل مستشفى صدر المحلة ، صرح الدكتور شريف حمودة وكيل وزارة الصحة بالغربية، عن وفاة سيدة تدعى "فتحية رشدى محمد" (40 سنة) مقيمة بمركز كفر الزيات وتوفيت داخل مستشفى صدر المحلة بعد ثبوت ايجابية حالتها بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير. كما احتجزت مستشفيات حميات وصدر المحلة وصدر طنطا 13 حالة إيجابية أخرى بالمرض وتم عزلهم بالأماكن المخصصة لذلك وإعطائهم عقار التايمفلو ووضع المخالطين لهم تحت المراقبة الطبية المستمرة لمدة أسبوع والتنبيه عليهم بالتوجه لأقرب مستشفى حميات أو صدر فى حالة ظهور أى أعراض مشابهه لأعراض المرض عليهم.
