The World Health Organization and the swine flu pandemic, and informed the Member States and up to 193 countries to lift the state of preparedness to the sixth grade.

يأتى ذلك بعد أن اختتم خبراء من منظمة الصحة العالمية اجتماعا طارئا اليوم، الخميس، فى مقر المنظمة فى جنيف بحثوا فيه انتشار المرض فى أنحاء العالم ورفعوا توصية بإعلان حالة الوباء وذلك للمرة الأولى منذ نحو 41 عاما.​

This came after the conclusion of experts from the World Health Organization held an emergency meeting today, Thursday, at the organization's headquarters in Geneva, discussed the spread of disease around the world and raised the recommendation to declare a state of the epidemic and for the first time in nearly 41 years.

وجاء ذلك بعد انتشار حالات الإصابة بالمرض فى 74 دولة بالأمريكتين وأوروبا وأستراليا وآسيا والشرق الأوسط أخرها كانت مصر التى وصل عدد الحالات فيها إلى 11 حالة مؤكدة حتى الآن، ليصل إجمالى عدد الحالات المكتشفة فى أنحاء العالم كله إلى نحو 28 ألفا فى ظل تصنيف الوباء أن انتقال الفيروس بين البشر أصبح منتشرا فى إقليمين على الأقل من العالم.​
