Engineer Rashid Mohamed Rashid, Minister of Trade and Industry </td></tr></tbody></table>القاهرة - أكد المهندس رشيد محمد رشيد وزير التجارة والصناعة ضرورة التعاون بين مصر والبرازيل فى مجال الزراعة والصناعات الغذائية للتغلب على الصعود الاخير فى اسعار الحاصلات والسلع الذى يعانى منه الدول النامية.
CAIRO - The Al-Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed, Minister of Trade and Industry need for cooperation between Egypt and Brazil in the area of agriculture and food industries to overcome the last ascent in the prices of commodities and crops suffered by developing countries. وقال رشيد خلال كلمته الاحد فى افتتاح يوم الاعمال المصرى البرازيلى - إن للبرازيل دور رائد فى مجال الصناعات الغذائية يمكنها نقله الى مصر خاصة فى مجالات التكنولوجيا الزراعية والاسمدة ووسائل النقل المرتبطة بها.
Rashid said during his speech Sunday in the opening day of the Egyptian Brazilian - that Brazil's leading role in the field of food industries can transfer to Egypt, especially in the areas of agricultural technology, fertilizers and means of transport which they relate. واعتبر رشيد زيارة الوفد البرازيلى الذى يضم اكثر من 80 رجل اعمال من قطاعات الصناعة والزراعة والخدمات فرصة لتنمية الصادرات المصرية للبرازيل الى جانب استثماراتهم فى مصر وفتح آفاق التعاون الاقليمى.
Rashid said the Brazilian delegation's visit, which includes more than 80 businessmen from the sectors of industry, agriculture and services opportunity for the development of Egyptian exports to Brazil as well as their investments in Egypt and open prospects for regional cooperation. وأضاف أن هناك العديد من مجالات التعاون بين الجانبين مثل صناعة مواد البناء كالسيراميك والحديد والاسمنت الذى تعتبر مصر من اهم المصدرين فى العالم الى جانب صناعة المنسوجات واسود الكربون والادوات الطبية والسجاد، حسبما ذكرت وكالة انباء الشرق الاوسط.
He added that there were many areas of cooperation between the two sides, such as building materials industry Calceramek and iron, cement, which is considered Egypt's most important exporters in the world along with the textile industry and carbon black and medical instruments, carpets, according to the Middle East News Agency. وأشار الى ان مصر تحولت الى محور دولى بفضل العديد من الاتفاقيات الاقتصادية والتجارية مع الولايات المتحدة والدول العربية والافريقية والاوروبية فضلا عن موقعها الذى يربط بين الشرق والغرب مما يجعلها قاعدة مثالية لتوزيع الصادرات البرازيلية فى المنطقة.
He pointed out that Egypt turned into a centre of international thanks to several agreements of economic and trade relations with the United States and the Arab states, African and European countries as well as the location, which links between East and West, making it an ideal base for the distribution of Brazilian exports in the region. وقال رشيد إن مصر تمكنت فى الفترة الاخيرة من اجراء العديد من الاصلاحات الاقتصادية التى ساهمت فى تحقيق معدلات نمو تجاوزت 7% وزيادة الاستثمارات الاجنبية المباشرة لنحو 11 مليار دولار خلال 2007 ومن المتوقع ان تصل الى 15 مليار خلال العام الحالى فضلا عن نمو الصادرات بنحو 30%.
Rashid said that Egypt has in the recent period of a number of economic reforms which have contributed to growth rates exceeding 7%, increased foreign direct investment of 11 billion dollars during 2007 is expected to reach 15 billion during the current year as well as the growth of exports by about 30% . ودعا الى الاستفادة من التجربة البرازيلية لقيادة الاقتصاد التى تمكنت من التغلب على مشاكل الديون والعجز التجارى والتضخم لتصبح من اهم الاسواق الناشئة فى العالم .
He called to take advantage of the experience to lead the Brazilian economy was able to overcome the problems of debt and trade deficit and inflation to become one of the most important emerging markets in the world. من جانبه دعا اشرف العتال رئيس مجلس الاعمال المصرى البرازيلى الى زيادة حجم الصادرات المصرية للبرازيل وأقامة اتفاقية تجارة حرة بين البلدين وتشجيع رجال الاعمال البرازيليين للاستثمار فى مصر باعتبارها مركزا اقتصاديا حيويا.
In the meantime, Ashraf porter board chairman of the Egyptian Brazilian to increase the volume of Egyptian exports to Brazil and the establishment of a free trade agreement between the two countries and promote the Brazilian businessmen to invest in Egypt as a vital economic center. كما طالب بوجود خطوط جوية مباشرة بين مصر والبرازيل سعيا الى زيادة اعداد السائحين البرازيليين المحبين لمصر ..مشيرا الى ان حجم التجارة بين البلدين ارتفع من 200 مليون دولار عام 2003 الى 3ر1 مليار دولار خلال العام الماضى.
They also demanded the presence of a direct airline between Egypt and Brazil in order to increase the number of tourists to Egypt loving Brazilians ..
