أعلنت وزارة الصحة، أمس إصابة ٥ حالات جديدة بفيروس (H١N١) المعروف بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير فى مصر، وأفاد بيان صحفى للوزارة بأن نتائج التحاليل المعملية للطلبة والمدرسين الأجانب المقيمين داخل مبنى سكن الطلبة الأجانب بالجامعة الأمريكية بحى الزمالك،

أكدت إصابة خمس حالات جديدة بالفيروس من بين المقيمين بالمبنى، ليرتفع عدد الحالات المصابة فى مصر إلى ٨ حالات، منهم ٧ أجانب فى بيت الطلبة، بالإضافة إلى الحالة الأولى، وهى للطفلة ?مريم? ١٢ سنة المصرية أمريكية الجنسية.

من جانبه قال الدكتور عبدالرحمن شاهين المتحدث الرسمى للوزارة، إنه تم نقل المصابين الخمسة إلى أحد المستشفيات بالقاهرة، مؤكدا أن حالتهم الصحية مستقرة، وأشار إلى أن باقى عينات التحاليل للمقيمين والعاملين بالمبنى جاءت جميعها سلبية، وتتم متابعتهم ومراقبتهم صحيا.
