Egypt: Detained 55 people suspected of having bird flu

CAIRO - Editor Masrawy - Dr. Abdel Rahman Shahin, official spokesman for the Ministry of Health has been the case of the detention of 55 aged between 8 months to 59 years on suspicion of contracting the bird flu.
The Shahin had been detained 22 of Dakahliya province, and 6 cases of both Cairo and the lake, and 3 of both the West and Damietta, and two each from the Eastern Qalubia, Fayoum, Giza and Alexandria, while the all Minya, Assiut, Suez and Monoufia, Kafr El-Sheikh and one suspected case, he pointed out sampling of these cases for analysis and to ensure free from injury or disease.
It is noteworthy that the total of suspected cases of bird flu since the disease in Egypt in 2006 and 8070 until Tuesday, suspected case confirmed 76 cases of which 27 died and 45 recovered, and there are 4 cases to hospitals for treatment.

القاهرة - محرر مصراوى - قال الدكتور عبدالرحمن شاهين المتحدث الرسمي لوزارة الصحة أنه تم احتجاز 55 حالة تتراوح أعمارهم مابين 8 شهور إلى 59 سنة للاشتباه فى إصابتهم بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور .

وأكد شاهين انه تم احتجاز 22 حالة من محافظة الدقهلية ، و6 حالات بكلا من القاهرة والبحيرة ، و3 بكلا من الغربية ودمياط ، وحالتان بكل من الشرقية والقليوبية والفيوم والجيزة والإسكندرية ، فيما جاء بكل من المنيا وأسيوط والسويس والمنوفية وكفر الشيخ حالة اشتباه واحدة مشيرا إلى أنه تم أخذ عينات من تلك الحالات لتحليلها والتأكد من إصابتهم أو خلوهم من المرض.

الجدير بالذكر أن إجمالي حالات الاشتباه بأنفلونزا الطيور منذ دخول المرض مصر فى عام 2006 وحتى الثلاثاء 8070 حالة إشتباه تأكد 76 حالة توفى منها 27 وشفى 45 وهناك 4 حالات بالمستشفيات لتلقى العلاج.
