5 million doses of vaccine ?swine flu? in Egypt next month

The government intensified its preparations to face the risk of increased spread of disease ?Swine Influenza? in schools and universities with the approaching start of the new school year.
The Ministry of Education to postpone the outbreak of the virus modal study, with the detection and the Health Minister signed a decision to anyone who wants to go to perform Hajj this year on the ?establishment? includes the acceptance of travel to prevent the spread of the disease and if it lacked the right to recover the money paid.

وأعلنت وزارة التعليم أن تأجيل الدراسة مشروط بتفشى الفيروس، فيما كشف وزير الصحة عن قرار يقضى بتوقيع كل من يريد الذهاب لأداء فريضة الحج هذا العام على ?إقرار? يتضمن قبوله منعه من السفر إذا تفشى المرض وعدم أحقيته فى استرداد الأموال التى دفعها.

وقال الدكتور حاتم الجبلى، وزير الصحة، فى كلمته مساء أمس الأول، ضمن فعاليات ?ملتقى الفكر الإسلامى? الذى تنظمه وزارة الأوقاف بميدان الإمام الحسين، إنه من المقرر توافر التطعيمات الخاصة بالوقاية من الفيروس فى مصر اعتباراً من أكتوبر المقبل، موضحا أنه سيتم توفير ٥ ملايين جرعة على أن يتم إعطاء الجرعات لفئات محددة حسب الأولوية مثل الأطباء والممرضات فى المستشفيات.

وأكدت وزارة التربية والتعليم أن إرجاء الدراسة مشروط بتفشى المرض، منوهة إلى عدم وجود تغيير- حتى الآن- لموعد بداية العام الدراسى وهو ٢٦ سبتمبر الجارى، فيما تعقد اللجنة المشتركة بين وزارتى التعليم والصحة اجتماعا اليوم، لبحث إجراءات المكافحة داخل المدارس.

من جانبه، أصدر اللواء عادل لبيب، محافظ الإسكندرية، أمس، قراراً بإغلاق المدارس الأجنبية فى المحافظة، وتأجيل الدراسة بها إلى ٢٧ سبتمبر، بهدف منح مديريتى الشؤون الصحية والتعليم مهلة لاتخاذ الاحتياطات اللازمة لمواجهة ظهور أى إصابات بالفيروس، مثلما حدث مع حالتى المدرستين البريطانية والإنجليزية قبل أيام.

وفى الوقت الذى ارتفعت حالات الإصابة بنادى سبورتنج السكندرى إلى ١٧، بعد تأكد إصابة مدرب فريق كرة الماء وأحد اللاعبين بالنادي، أكدت غرفة العمليات بمركز المعلومات ودعم اتخاذ القرار التابع لمجلس الوزراء أن فيروس ?AH١N١? لا ينتقل عن طريق حمامات السباحة.

وفى جامعة القاهرة، وضعت الإدارة خطة من ٣ محاور لمواجهة المرض بالجامعة، وشملت: توعية الطلاب وكيفية التعامل مع حالات الاشتباه أو الإصابة، والتنسيق مع الجهات العليا لمتابعة للمرض،
