Edomex preventing respiratory diseases
To control and prevent deaths from acute and severe respiratory infections , and shield the body against H1N1 influenza cases due to the impending winter season that will hit in coming weeks

With the imminent winter that hit the state of Mexico the next few weeks, the government implemented a surveillance state in the 125 municipalities of the entity, in order to control and prevent deaths from severe acute respiratory infections and poisoning carbon monoxide and diarrheal diseases.
In this regard, the Chief Epidemiologist of the State Health Institute of Mexico (ISEM), Benito Zaparripa Ayala, explained that as risk areas include two areas, one in the Toluca Valley and one in the area of volcanoes in Valley of Mexico, where the latter was increased by 5% respiratory diseases by cold fronts that have been presented.
It should be noted that from October to November there have been 9,000 cases of acute respiratory diseases, a figure very similar to that recorded each year, while cases of seasonal influenza are also controlled.
Zaparripa Ayala said that fortunately there have been no cases of H1N1 influenza, which has been strengthened and intensive vaccination, thanks to the state of Mexico reached more than 2.5 million doses against the 3 viruses containing the disease.
He stressed that at this moment in all jurisdictions and hospitals in the entity is the vaccine against seasonal influenza and H1N1, and also strengthens prevention measure communication, information and training to parents on diarrheal diseases to identify signs of risk
