The Ecuador Ministry of Health confirmed the death of eight people in Quito because of the H1N1 flu, but denied that there had been a resurgence of the epidemic in the country.
Two other patients are hospitalized in the capital of Ecuador, said the source,
while the National Institute Izquieta Leopoldo Perez, Guayaquil, which is responsible for respective national analysis confirmed the existence of 20 cases.
