In the last hours emergency agencies have failed to detect several earthquakes in about nine municipalities of Huila department during the month of June and leading far this July.

Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Popay?n Ingeominas, reported that during the week between June 29 and July 5, 2011, the Nevado del Huila Volcano, was at the yellow level III due to changes in the behavior of volcanic activity.
As far this year there have been 182 seismic events. Of these, 63 are related to fracturing of rock and 119 with the fluid dynamics within the volcanic conduits. Of these, 83 correspond to long period events, 16 events and 20 hybrid type pulses of low magnitude tremor.
