وأوضح د.هشام عطا يوسف وكيل وزارة الصحة بالمنوفية أنه تم حجز الطفلة منال عزت خليل البحيرى (6 سنوات) إثر ظهور أعراض المرض عليها من ارتفاع فى درجة الحرارة وقيئ وآلام بالمفاصل، وتم أخذ عينة من دم المصابة، وإرسالها إلى المعامل المركزية بوزارة الصحة لفحصها لبيان مدى إيجابياتها من سلبيتها.
