Patty A. Strause

June 14, 1957 - October 12, 2009

Patty A. Strause, a native of Stockton, passed away October 12, 2009 after an almost month-long battle with complications due to Flu.
She was born June 14, 1957 to Frank and Josephine Uomini. Patty volunteered at Manilo Silva Elementary School (LUSD) on the School Site Council, was a PTA Officer and helped in various classrooms and in the library, where she enjoyed reading to the younger kids. She also volunteered at Bear Creek High School (LUSD) as a VP of Bear Creek Band Boosters Board of Directors and was a Board Member of the Twin Creek Homeowner's Association.

She was the loving wife to Robert Strause of Stockton. Devoted and proud mother to Melissa and Megan Strause both of Stockton. Caring sister to Joanne Uomini (Mark Roberts) of El Cerrito. Cherished aunt to Mathew, Benjamin and Nicholas all of El Cerrito. She is preceded in death by her father Frank Uomini.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a memorial service held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, CA 95219, on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 1212 W. Robinhood Drive Ste 5D or American Diabetes Association, 2720 Gateway Oaks Drive Ste 110, Sacramento, CA 95833. Neptune Society Stockton branch in charge of arrangements. www.neptune-society.com
