GEORGETOWN, Del.- Epizootic hemorrhagic disease has killed around 130 white-tailed deer in Delaware since the outbreak started nearly six weeks ago, according to state officials.
Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife officials told WBOC reports of dead and sick deer continue to trickle in further from the epicenter of this outbreak, which was near Georgetown and Milton. The Forest Service said 74 dead deer were found at Redden State Forest, though rangers say the death toll at the forest could easily be twice that number...
