At today's evening press conference, Dr. Loo?pez-Gatell presented some data regarding the curves of some of Mexico's large Cities. The City of Mexico and adjoining municipalities in the State of Mexico appear to be hitting their peak. Villahermosa in Tabasco, Canc?n in Quintana Roo and (this more tentative) Culiac?n in Sinaloa have passed their peak and the number of new cases is declining. The region of Puebla-Tlaxcala, the city of Veracruz, the city of Cuernavaca and the city of Acapulco in Guerrero are expected to peak later this month. The outliers that were reported on today are Guadalajara (June 13) and Monterrey (sometime in August) both have which have had unexpectedly few cases given their size, as well as Oaxaca which they are finding difficult to predict.

At tonight's regular 7pm press conference, Dr. Hugo L?pez-Gatell reported on the status of some of Mexico's large cities.
The City of Mexico and adjoining municipalities in the State of Mexico continue to reoprt high new case numbers.
Villahermoso in Tabasco, once thought to be decreasing its new case numbers, is now showing a second, higher peak.
Canc?n in Quintana Roo, Culiac?n in Sinaloa and Tijuana in Baja California are all showing decreasing numbers of new cases.
Cuernavaca and Acapulco show continuing increases in new case numbers as does Veracruz.
Oaxaca, the city (see graph) and the state, show new case increases that put them firmly on the upward side of the curve.
Guadalajara and Monterrey continue to report small numbers of new cases given their size. Guadalajara's peak was projected to be the middle of June 9 days ago but that no longer seems likely.
