Abstract
In a 2X2-factorial trial, the efficacy of influenza vaccine (TIV) in pregnancy plus infant pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV7) was higher than TIV or PCV alone. During the influenza circulation period, efficacy of TIV+PCV7 was 72.4% (95%CI: 30.2%-89.1%) against febrile respiratory illness and 66.4% (95%CI: 14.3%-86.9%) against medically-attended acute respiratory illness.
