Cogburn the Rooster ​

A man came home from work one day and found his dog with the neighbor's favorite rooster in his mouth. The rooster was dead and the man panics!

He figures that the neighbor is going to hate him forever.

So he takes the dirty, chewed up, dead rooster into the house and gives it a bath!

Then he blow dries its feathers and takes the dead rooster back to the neighbor's yard, hoping they would think it died of natural causes!

A few days later, the rooster's owner was outside and asked the man,
'Did you hear that my rooster Cogburn died?'

The man stammered and said, 'Um.. no.. uh.. what happened?'

The neighbor replied,
'We found him dead in the yard the other day, but the weird thing is that the day after we buried him we went outside and someone had dug him up, gave him a bath and put him back in the yard. There must be some real sick people out there!'
