Upper respiratory infections, flu-like illnesses plague the Coastal Bend

While most of the patients are suffering from nonspecific respiratory illnesses treatable with rest and over-the-counter medication, at least two patients have tested positive for two types of influenza, including one patient who had received a flu shot, Mobley said. Malowitz also had a patient test positive for two types of flu.
