The most dangerous one is pneumonia type ARTI, which can cause fatality, particularly in toddlers. Meanwhile, from January to May, 2,557 of pneumonia type ARTI sufferers have been recorded.

In total 573 cases recorded on January, 561 on February, 535 on March, 448 on April and 440 on May.

Head of Disease Control Section, Health Service, H. Raharjo said, ARTI could infect anyone regardless age and time.

?When body condition falls, people can easily get ARTI attack. Flu is among ARTI disease but not pneumonia type?, he said.

Several factors could contribute ARTI, he added, it could be congenital but not hereditary. Lack of sanitation, such as lack of ventilation in a house or unhealthy environment, might contribute to ARTI infection, said Raharjo.
