According to Zhao Dandan, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, on May 2, there were 274 new confirmed local cases of new coronary pneumonia and 5,395 local asymptomatic infections in our city. Among the 274 local confirmed cases, 117 were found in closed-loop isolation and control, 2 were found in the screening of relevant risk personnel, and 155 were asymptomatic infected persons and confirmed cases. Among the 5,395 local asymptomatic infections, 5,324 were found in closed-loop isolation and control, and 71 were found in the screening of relevant risk personnel. As of 24:00 on May 2, 488 severe patients and 88 critically ill patients had been treated in designated medical institutions.
