The confirmed case in Yinchuan, Ningxia, is a variant of the new coronavirus delta

China News Service, Yinchuan, August 3 (Reporter Li Peishan) A reporter learned from the Office of the Headquarters of the Ningxia Yinchuan City's Response to the Novel Coronavirus Infection Pneumonia Epidemic on the 3rd that Yinchuan City confirmed one imported case of new coronary pneumonia in an exceptional province on July 30 ( Zhang Moumou) The Ningxia Center for Disease Control and Prevention virus gene sequencing results showed that the virus infected in this case was a variant of the new coronavirus delta.
Regarding the handling of the epidemic, Yinchuan City tracked and checked 149 close contacts, 972 sub-close contacts, and 16,236 key risk monitoring personnel. The above-mentioned personnel have completed three rounds of nucleic acid tests, and the results are all negative. At the same time, 1 scenic spot involved in the epidemic, 1 closed-down town, 24 hotels (apartments), 231 building units, and 11,417 people in health management were temporarily closed. The key areas have been completely disinfected, and the health management personnel are normal.
As of 16:00 on August 3, the patient's condition was stable, and CT examination showed no abnormalities.
