Nanyang Orthopedic Hospital launches emergency drill for anti-terrorism and anti-riot

In order to prevent sudden terrorist attacks, improve emergency prevention capabilities, minimize personnel injuries, and ensure the personal safety of hospital staff, patients and their families. On the afternoon of June 29, the Police Station of the Security Department and Logistics Department of Nanyang Orthopedic Hospital participated in the anti-terrorism drill.
Before the drill started, the squadron leader of the station police station explained in detail the use of steel helmets, rubber rods, shields, steel forks, and anti-riot sticks, as well as how to use these anti-terrorism equipment to protect themselves, subdue gangsters, and other precautions. Through personal guidance, teaching and multi-person cooperation to use anti-terrorism equipment to subdue criminals skills and methods.
The scene of the exercise simulated a foreigner who was emotionally charged and came straight into the hospital holding a wooden stick, and there was a physical conflict when the guard on duty stepped forward to stop him.
Hearing the loud calls of the guards on duty, the Security Section quickly activated the emergency plan and called the police to evacuate the people on the spot in an orderly manner. The on-duty personnel carried anti-terrorism equipment to surround and mediate the person, forced him to a dead end with a shield, and waited for the opportunity to suppress the person with steel forks and anti-riot sticks, and escorted him back to the Security Section to wait for the police to deal with.
Throughout the exercise, the plot is lifelike, the procedures are standardized, the process is orderly, and the handling is proper, allowing the on-site personnel to intuitively and vividly experience the real scenes of troubles, troubles, provocations, confrontations, and being subdued.
Through this exercise, all personnel in the Security Department of the hospital have mastered the operation and use of anti-terrorism equipment, strengthened their awareness of anti-terrorism and prevention, and accumulated experience and ability to deal with emergencies, which served as a valuable reference for dealing with emergencies in the future. Experience and role have effectively guaranteed the safety and stability of this hospital.
