Beidahuang Group's 859 Farm conducts emergency drill for major animal epidemics

To effectively respond to sudden major animal epidemics, the Forestry, Grassland and Water Operation and Management Center of the 859 Farm of Beidahuang Group recently conducted an emergency drill for the prevention and control of major animal epidemics. This drill aimed to further establish and improve the mechanism for the prevention and control of major animal epidemics, comprehensively enhance the ability to respond to sudden major animal epidemics, and ensure timely and effective handling.
This drill simulated a major animal epidemic outbreak at a livestock farm, triggering the corresponding level of emergency response. The drill included stages such as epidemic reporting and confirmation, activation of the emergency plan and issuance of a containment order, epidemic control and eradication, epidemic cessation, and post-outbreak management. During the emergency drill, each response team performed its duties swiftly and efficiently, cooperating and coordinating according to relevant procedures. Each stage was seamlessly integrated, procedurally sound, and conducted in an orderly manner. The entire drill proceeded smoothly and efficiently, with participants demonstrating seriousness, composure, and seamless teamwork, effectively and decisively handling the epidemic. The drill achieved its intended objectives.
This drill further enhanced the 859 Farm's emergency response capabilities, practical skills, and collaborative handling abilities in the prevention and control of major animal diseases. Through this training-based approach, it also improved the animal disease prevention and control awareness and emergency response capabilities of grassroots animal disease prevention personnel.
