In order to improve the level of prevention and control of the new crown epidemic and improve emergency response capabilities, on the afternoon of February 4, Jinan Second People's Hospital launched an emergency response drill for patients with fever found in outpatient clinics. Zhang Yajun, vice-president of the Second Municipal People's Hospital, and Cao Chuanzhou, vice-president, attended the exercise.
School leaders and related department personnel observe the drill
This exercise was jointly carried out by the Emergency Management Office, the Outpatient Department, the Medical Affairs Department, the Hospital Sensation Office, the Security Department, the General Affairs Department, and the Laboratory Department. According to the pre-set exercise plan, the hospital's pre-inspection and triage staff immediately start the emergency treatment plan after finding a fever patient in the outpatient department. Staff in relevant positions performed their duties, cooperated closely, connected effectively, and completed the discovery, disposal, and reporting procedures in strict accordance with the requirements of the emergency plan. The leaders of the institute fully affirmed the effects of the exercise, and put forward rectification opinions on the problems found during the exercise.

Through this exercise, personnel in relevant departments have become familiar with the standard procedures for emergency treatment of patients with fever found in outpatient clinics, which has effectively promoted the normalized epidemic prevention and control work of the hospital.
