　　The "New Coronavirus Pneumonia Diagnosis and Treatment Program (Ninth Trial Version)" was announced on the 15th.

　　The plan makes the following adjustments:

　　①Optimize case discovery and reporting procedures;

　　②The cases shall be classified and treated, and the isolation management and treatment places shall be determined according to the condition. The light cases shall be under centralized isolation management, and the common, severe and critical cases and patients with high risk factors of severe illness shall be treated in designated hospitals;

　　③ Further standardize antiviral treatment, and include two specific anti-new coronavirus drugs approved by the State Food and Drug Administration into the diagnosis and treatment plan;

　　④The content of TCM treatment has been revised and improved;

　　⑤ Adjust the management of release from isolation and discharge standards, and speed up the process of release and discharge of patients;

　　⑥ Adjusted the management of release from isolation and precautions after discharge, and changed "continue to carry out 14-day isolation management and health monitoring after discharge" to "continue to carry out 7-day home health monitoring after release of isolation management or discharge from hospital".

Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Thursday the country will "stick with" its zero-Covid strategy, state TV reported, as the world's most populous nation battles its largest outbreak since the early days of the pandemic.

The country where the virus emerged in late 2019 has largely kept subsequent outbreaks under control thanks to a combination of strict border controls, lengthy quarantines and targeted lockdowns, and has not reported any coronavirus-related deaths for over a year.

But the highly transmissible Omicron variant is posing a stern challenge to that strategy, prompting authorities to close off cities including the southern tech hub of Shenzhen, home to 17.5 million people.
