Changde No. 1 Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine launches riot and anti-terrorism emergency drill
In order to effectively prevent sudden violent injuries, improve overall emergency prevention and control capabilities, ensure timely and effective emergency response after an accident, minimize casualties and property losses, and ensure the personal safety of hospital staff, patients and family members. On the morning of March 19, Changde No. 1 Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine organized a safety emergency drill for riot control and terrorism. More than 10 people including the administrative and security departments of the hospital and the police from the local police station participated in the exercise.
Drill site
At 8 o'clock in the morning, the drill officially began. A "gangster" came to the entrance of Jisheng Building and suddenly took out a knife in an attempt to injure the surrounding people. The security guard on duty immediately used a walkie-talkie to call all the members on duty to assemble quickly, and quickly rushed to the scene with anti-riot and anti-terrorism equipment. At the same time, the security captain immediately reported to the hospital. The leader on duty and in charge, activated the riot and anti-terrorism emergency response plan, evacuated the on-site personnel, raised the police boundary, and dialed 110 at the same time.
The security guards held shields and steel forks to form an encirclement from various intersections and channels, and forced the "gangsters" back to a corner outside the building. After a brief physical contact with them, they quickly subdued them, took the knives in their hands, and escorted them to the police station.
Deputy Dean Duan Jianhui (first from left) summed up the drill experience on the spot
After the drill, Duan Jianhui, the deputy dean of the hospital, concluded that the on-site simulation drill was realistic, fast and orderly, and handled properly, and asked everyone to carefully summarize the emergency response experience and accurately grasp the location of the emergency. Organize personnel to conduct exercises on a regular basis to further improve the security personnel's equipment practical skills and the actual control ability to deal with emergencies, to ensure the normal medical order in the hospital, and to strive to provide a safer, stable and harmonious medical environment for the majority of patients.
