China - 1st patient in East China transported to hospital via ECMO equipped ambulance - July 27, 2016

On July 27, a 4 year old boy in Changzhou, Jiangsu province who was suffering from life threatening pneumonia was successfully transported to Fudan University Children's Hospital in an ambulance equipped with a mobile ECMO unit.

The patient is currently in stable condition.
