Eight dead, 300 infected and schools closed as virus spreads in Tarapac? Region.

Eight people have died and 300 more are infected following an influenza outbreak in northern Chile which continues to spread.

People with special risk factors and those who are working in public services are being targeted vaccinations as influenza sweeps northern Chile.

Local health officials called on residents to make sure they have been vaccinated against influenza and to take measures to avoid infection...
