Cholera claims five lives in Surguja

Raipur: Cholera has again spread in Jirhul village, which is 140 kms from Surguja. It has
claimed five lives so far. The dead comprise three sisters.
The health department will be deployed in the area. The chief health official and medical officer, under the leadership of Vikas Khand education department official, have deployed the team.
According to the health department sources, three people died from cholera last week in Surguja.
It is reported that over two dozen people have contracted cholera in Jirhul village.
