The Cear? is the state of the Northeast with bigger number of confirmed cases and of deaths for flu A (flu H1N1) in 2012, according to lifting done by the Raftsman Online. The last report spread by the General office of the Health (Sesa) points that, between 1st of January and 16 of June, 501 cases of the disease were notified in 18 local authorities of Cear?, with 138 confirmations, eight deaths and 363 discarded cases.
Regarding the deaths, Fortaleza appears like the capital with bigger number of registers: three persons died in 2012. Others five deaths in the Cear? happened in the local authorities of Beberibe, Monsignor Tabosa, Maranguape, Crate?s and Madalena. Of agreement with numbers of the Sesa, of eight lethal cases, six were still women, of whom one was pregnant.
