The outbreak was reported by <st1:country-region><ST1:pKyrgyzstan</ST1:p</st1:country-region> national veterinary authority, with a total of 40 cows found to be infected. <O:p

All the meat markets in the two regions have been closed by the authorities to prevent meat trade and the spread of the disease.
