Catania, tre pazienti in terapia intensiva

CATANIA - Siamo nel pieno del picco dell?influenza e i pronto soccorso stanno ?scoppiando? soprattutto di pazienti anziani e con patologie croniche, che arrivano in ospedale per le complicanze dell?influenza. Nel nuovo reparto di emergenza del Policlinico, due giorni fa, si sono registrati 240 accessi rispetto ai tradizionali 160-170 casi registrati negli altri giorni. Quest?anno, secondo gli esperti, l?epidemia ? un po? pi? virulenta rispetto agli anni passati e gi? al Policlinico sono tre i casi di malati ricoverati in terapia intensiva. L?ultimo ricovero si ? registrato ieri. Si tratta di una ragazza disabile di 20 anni, affetta da altre patologie, che ? stata intubata per complicazioni respiratorie.
