Cases of Tuberculosis Increase in Uruguay

Montevideo, Jul 4.- A total of 852 cases of tuberculosis were reported in Uruguay in 2013, an increase of 32 percent compared to 2012, reported the Honorary Committee for the Control of Tuberculosis (Chlaep).

After explaining that the rate is 25.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the committee said the problem is not over and on the other hand, the number of people infected in recent years increased...
