Pachuca, Hidalgo .- The Ministry of Health in Hidalgo launched yesterday, an alert to prevent the population, with the confirmation of a case of canine rabies in Tizayuca.
The dog that carried the virus to eight dogs managed to attack more, which were detected by means of citizen complaints. Two have died, the rest are under observation, since the incubation of virus may take up to 60 days to appear.
In order to prevent more cases like the one recorded in the community of El Cid, the secretary Pedro Luis Noble recalled that since 1997 there have been no cases of human rabies and for two years did not show any animals.
