Second Cal Poly student diagnosed with bacterial meningitis this year

The Cal Poly Executive Director of Campus Health and Well-being announced to the campus community that a student who lives on campus is receiving medical care after being diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. Medical staff say the student is doing well.

This marks the second meningitis diagnoses on campus this year after another student contracted the disease in January.

Cal Poly says they're working with the County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department to identify and reach out to others on campus who have been in contact with the student prior to them receiving medical treatment...
