Hospital confirms growth of 300% in cases of Guillain-Barr?

The year 2015 recorded a significant increase in the number of cases of Guillain-Barr? syndrome in Alagoas. As the causes of the disease are not yet known to the medical field, the relationship between the syndrome, Zika andChikungunya is being investigated.
"Last year, I treated about 14 patients with Guillain-Barr?. So far, with the advance of Zika virus andChikungunya, we add more than 50 cases of the syndrome that reached me at the Santa Casa", considered Wellington Galv?o, who brought Alagoas for three machines of the latest generation ofplasma exchange of the 30 currently existing in Brazil.
